5 Ways To Add Luxury Design to Your Commercial Space

Are you opening a restaurant or a deli in 2023? Or, perhaps you are looking into another business venture that will require a bit of thought in the design department.

It is a fact that when it comes to shops and other commercial businesses, appearances count. As such, it is vital to consider some of the things that can be used by your store to give it a luxury vibe.

Where do you start? Read on to find out!

  1. High-Quality Finishes and Materials

When it comes to designing a storefront or a space for guests to sit and eat to create a luxury feel, you should consider the materials that you use. If possible, aim to have stone tiles or porcelain flooring and make sure the finish is of high quality. To ensure this, aim to get the flooring from a site like Quorn Stone. To add to this, when it comes to fabric and upholstery, aim for high-quality, striking materials too.

  1. Striking Lighting

Lighting is crucial in businesses, and, in some cases, you may want it to be dimmable, primarily if you work in a restaurant! There are so many options to make the lighting in your workplace appealing. Whether it is wall sconces, a chandelier, or pendant lights, these can easily blend with most designs of shops or eateries and can really add to the luxurious and elegant feel of the place.

Just make sure larger and more complicated light fittings are installed by a trained electrician.

  1. Furnishings

Suppose you were to read a review of a 5 Star Restaurant; would you expect such an establishment to have plastic chairs? Probably not! If you are aiming for an authentic luxury vibe in your eatery or another commercial setting, look into getting pieces of furniture that are hand-crafted (if possible) or, at least, have the illusion of being hand-crafted.

Of course, there are many hipster venues that are higher end that have a mix-and-match look to their furniture. This can and often does work, but only when that is a theme throughout the entire space.

So, if you want a hipster-themed eatery or store that looks luxurious, aim for deeper-colored furnishings, usually paired with a single shade of metal, such as gold or silver.

  1. Attention To Detail

Again, the devil is in the detail, and while the aforementioned hipster venue may be able to get away with a mixed set of handles on doors, drawers, and other bits, if you are looking for a much higher-class look, you will need to make sure that all the accessories in your store or eatery match.

This is right down to the toilets and even the soaps that your guests will wash their hands with!

  1. Art!

Art plays a huge part in most commercial settings, and in a restaurant, it will definitely add to the theme! Aim for pieces of art that match the overall theme of your store or other outlet, but make sure they evoke a sense of relaxation and luxury. For instance, you could choose sculptures or vases over traditional paintings.
