3 Ways to Get Feisty and Live Boldly

3 Ways to Get Feisty and Live Boldly

We need bold and feisty people in the world today, especially in this fear-clogged environment of cancel culture and the pressure to conform. People who are courageous and willing to face challenges blaze the trail for others to follow.

Being bold means having the drive, enthusiasm, and confidence to stand up for your values. It means not waiting for your dreams to come true, but instead stepping into things you’ve never tried before.

Being feisty means that you speak for yourself. You’re not intimidated by others’ opinions because you have your own and you know your thoughts matter, too. Being feisty means that you don’t back down from a challenge.

You are the creator of your own attitude. You can move from a place of timidity and hesitation to a bold stance and a feisty energy.

Here are three ways to get feisty and live boldly:

1. Be intentional about knowing your worth and value:

Many people live their lives undervaluing themselves and totally unaware of their immense worth. If that’s you, you may often struggle with that inner critic that tells you are not good enough. Do you compare yourself to others? Comparison is always a confidence-drainer and joy-thief. It sets you up for failure. It sets up an impossible standard of measurement.

You cannot ever be anyone other than who you are. You are not like anyone else. No one else can be you or do what you do exactly the way you do it. You are unique, special, and completely acceptable. Begin to raise your awareness about how wonderful you truly are and that what you bring to the table is exactly what the world needs. Bring it!

2. Dare to speak your truth and never apologize for it:

What you have to say is just as important and valid as what anyone else has to say. Your voice matters. Your opinions matter. No single person has all the answers or the completely right viewpoint. When we’re open to hearing other perspectives, that’s when we see the bigger picture.

It’s like working a jigsaw puzzle. We each have a piece of the puzzle, but until all the pieces are put together in the way they are meant to be, we won’t see the full picture. If you don’t speak your truth, you are holding a piece of the puzzle and keeping the rest of us from seeing it. Your truth and your voice are gifts that only you can give. When you dare to speak up and be heard, you will find that people will listen and appreciate you for sharing. This will activate your inner feistiness!

3. Get pumped about the abundance of possibilities that are open to you:

Perhaps you’ve put a box around yourself. You’ve limited what’s possible for you. Boldness is all about breaking off those limitations and daring to believe that all things are possible for you. When you can envision bigger and greater opportunities for your life, you’ll get excited. When you live inside your self-imposed comfort zone, you’ll feel fearful about trying new things.

Switch your thinking from “I can’t” to “I can.” When you find yourself saying “No” to something, ask yourself why you are saying no. Don’t focus on what you can’t do or don’t have. Fix your inner eyesight on what you can grow into, what you can learn, what you can try. Look at all that you already have accomplished. Mountains are scaled one step at a time. Look for the next step and see the abundance of possibilities that are open to you. You’ll find that your fear will change to excitement. This will put you into action and then you’ll be unstoppable!

In summary, getting feisty and living boldly is an attitude that you create for yourself. You always have a choice. You are the only one who can choose how you will live.

Embrace your worth and value, speak up and be heard, and step into abundant possibilities. Get feisty and live boldly.
